AIS Challenge: Stamp Over Orange

The theme for April 7th challenge on AIS was to stamp over orange.
When it comes to stamping I rarely end totally satisfied with the final results but this time, I couldn't love this manicure more!  It looks like a sari :)

What I used:

Collective Haul: CVS, Sallys & Local Beauty Supply

Since mid March I've been haulin' too much nail related things, specially nail polishes.  Think I should not get any new ones...I'll try not to, I'll try  ;)

Here is a mix of things I got at CVS, Sallys and a local beauty supply called "Cosmos"

CVS: their polish remover: since I started stamping, noticed I might need acetone in industrial quantities! lol  Also got NYC white cream (for stamping) and Spoiled Pet My Peacock

I went with my sister-in-law to a new (to us) Sally's location and where surprised at how big the store was!  They had 4 clearance sections from which I got the Let It Snow kit $1.25 (Blue Years Eve & Snow Globe), Some like it Haute $1, California Mango cuticle gel $.69.  The only thing I got regular price was Lux & Lush from The Hunger Games collection. It was $5.99 but in my receipt it said $4.  Now I wish I got Harvest Moon and Riveting since I've seen them in other Sallys at $6-$7

Local beauty supply: Bettina Metallic Copper $1.99, SuperNail thinner $2.25, Color Club Magic Atraction $1.99 and Kiss Wear cuticle remover $1.95

Days before, one of my aunts got this Color Clubs at the same beauty supply. She got them to get her toes skittle-ed, but because she rarely wears colors like this; she gave them to me :D This are my first! CC

Later last week, I went back to another Sallys location and got some more polishes and nail wheels.  The crackle polishes where an impulse buy motivated by how cheap they where; think they where not even a dollar!

As the tittle warns, this post includes lots of pictures.  I tried to sum them up as much as I could and while doing so, notice that this month I went overboard with nail stuff.  I think is safe to admit that nail polish/art is not taking over; it have already caught me on its web!

CVS & Kmart:  

Now I have a CVS location near me [does happy dance] and the day after my bday they where having the inauguration.  I went with mom, sis-in-law and niece; had a great time wondering around. At Kmart I also found a super sweet deal!

CVS: they had the Wet n Wild Spoiled display and I picked two:  Shuffle the Deck & Jewelry Heist

To add up to my recent stamping plate stash, the Salon Express kit that sadly came with a duplicate plate.  Also got the CVS brand Apricot Scrub.

At Kmart I got the Sally Hansen Color Quick pens on clearance for only $.80!  I read that chrome ones where great for stamping, so I got all the colors they had in the clearance bin.

At last! I got my hands on the China Glaze crackles **woot woot** Felt tempted to do some damage and get all the colors but since other brands are adding texture polishes to their collection too; I decided to get kind of the basics. I will do some more damage later because I got a 15% discount coupon on my receipt.
At Sallys got Black Mesh and Cracked Concrete, also Señorita Bonita and white tip guides from Orly. I love colored tip manis but I don't have the skills so these are very helpful :)

Then I went to an Outlet Mall (Barceloneta) and they have a beauty supply that sells the best! polish remover, which I can go trough it like water LoL. I like this store too because they sell CG cheaper than at Sallys, $2.75. They don't have a wide selection of colors but since I don't own many CG polishes it helps building my collection and saving at the same time. They have a store in the metro area (Rio Piedras) which I plan to visit because they also sell Nubar and Kleancolor. Here I got Rich & Famous and Cashmere Creme

Mini-Hauls

Lately I've been into nail polishes like never before. Maybe because lack of space to store makeup or because in general, there is much more variety of affordable nail polishes than eyeshadows or brushes.
Here are a couple (mainly polishes) that I've gathered throughout the last weeks:

From Walgreens: I don't know in the US, but this week in Puerto Rico they have Sinful Colors nail polishes on sale for $0.99! the display was almost empty and even tho I was looking to pick at least 2 bottles of Nirvana and Unicorn, still got some nice shades + a Revlon Colorburst lipgloss in Strawberry Fraise
