Neutral? Shinny? Animal Print? A mani with all of the above

When doing my nails, I rarely have a clear, specific idea in my mind.  It all start debating the base color; then it develops into layering shimmery top coats, placing glitters, stamping and God knows what else.  An interest in just not having my nails naked ends up in a mild-bling-on manicure :)

I love this combination because it can be subtle but doing something slightly different in each hand, makes it fun at the same time!

Serena nail polish: Sparkling Rose

The other one I got from Serena was Sparkling Rose.  This polish is more for layering or adding a sparkly accent than to use it by its own.  This pale creamy gold with golden micro shimmer reminds me of Piña Colada lollipops :)

I haven't had time to take pictures of the swatches, but wanted to share the bottle pictures first.

Serena nail polish: Fruit Punch

This is my first Serena nail polish. I never saw them before until I went with my mom to a store called Pepe Gangas to buy Christmas ornaments.  They have pretty nice glittery and for only $.99 I had to try.

This shade is called Fruit Punch and it does look like it in the bottle.  Once applied looks more coral/pink than orange, but still pretty.  It is sheer, more than 2 coats or a color base coat might be needed for full opacity; but it dries fast.  The glitter on it its super pretty!  I have the hardest time describing polishes, but I would say that the glitter has some sort of iridescent?

I haven't had time to swatch the new polishes I've got and decided to post bottle pictures first because if I let them for until I start  my Christmas vacation, it will take me a forever to blog all of them.
