Sinful Colors: Super Star

I promised to reduce the amount of glitter polishes in my collection, but this Sinful Colors got me; is kind of a perfect combo! :)
Superstar is a super pretty blue jelly with purple and aqua glitter.  In my experience, jelly glitters become somewhat difficult to manege when applying the second coat but this one was the exception.

Sinful Colors: Ice Dream

Ice Dream can be easily described as a glitter explosion!
Its fully loaded with silver and blue glitters.  I recently dropped my camera two times and since then it have been acting up, specially when I try to photograph glitters, so this one gave me a hard time.

Blue Years Eve (2011 Holiday Collection) has a sheer blue base filled with blue glass fleck with aqua shimmer.

AIS Challenge: Stamp Over Orange

The theme for April 7th challenge on AIS was to stamp over orange.
When it comes to stamping I rarely end totally satisfied with the final results but this time, I couldn't love this manicure more!  It looks like a sari :)

What I used:

China Glaze Roguish Red (base)

Sally Hansen ColorQuick Fast-Dry pen in gold (stamp)

Rainbow Gradient with Kleancolor Metallics

I think gradients have become my favorite kind of manicure!

Sinful Colors: Endless Blue

I Purchased this color because judging from the way it looked on the bottle I didn't had anything like it.  I was like "meh, never know when I'm going to need something like this and its only $.99"
I'm so glad I got it! Its the most beautiful royal blue I've seen.

In person, is opaque enough with two coats but when taking pictures with flash, you can see some nail line.  Did 3 coats on my middle finger and the nail line was gone.  Like with any color as pigmented as this, I would recommend applying a thin layer of white polish first to minimize staining. 

Kleancolor Party Fever over Sinful Colors Savage Gone Matte

After my first try at matte nails I wanted to keep experimenting.  Just when I was looking for inspiration, Noelia from Its not my life anymore did this super cute & fun mani

Here is my take

I choose Savage because I didn't like how the glitter looked over any of the red polishes I own.  After a couple trials, this was the winner to pair with Party Fever

Orly: Mysterious Course

Mysterious Course, Part of the Dark Shadows Collection that came out on May 2012 is a blue/purple with blue duo-chrome.

Its dark, but the beautiful duo-chrome adds dimension to it.

Kleancolor Holo Chrome

I want to thank my sister-in-law Glenda for letting me paint her nails and voluntarily take pictures of it for the blog.  Her camera is better than mine and was able to catch most of Kleancolor Holo Chrome's beauty-- a purple jelly dream with lots of holographic goodness...mmm jelly...hahaha!

 I did her mani in a hurry because I took a break before going back to study.  I decided to use China Glaze Señorita Bonita as a base and added a white bow decal in each ring finger has an accent.  Simple and cute :)

My nails are naked now, I wanted to do some green manis in honor of my upcoming birthday but I'm tempted to wear this beauty.

I did this look mainly using the Icing baked eyeshadow in Showstopper.

To add a bit of smokiness I used a black and blue from the 120 palette and a shimmery white for the tear duct. For the browbone used eggshell from Estee Lauder.  I rarely use blue eyeshadow as vivid as in this look but I like how this turned out  :)

 I'm still playing with the new camera settings, that is why my skin looks way more tanned, but I'm glad that is capturing the eyeshadow colors as close to how they look in person.

eotd: Radiant Makeup inspired me - to look in old folders!

I absolutely love this look from Radiant Makeup! I was feeling inspired to give it a try but then I remember playing with something similar. I made this back in December so I'm not sure of the eyeshadows I used but the blue on my lids might be from Aromaleigh and the pink and purple from the Elf punk funk quad.

eotd: using the NYX disco diva glitter liner

I purchased this glitter eyeliner 2 years ago and didn't even bother to open it until 4 months ago (super late eotd) It was my first time using a liquid / glitter eyeliner so I can't compare, but it is decently good. Had a hard time with my camera because it didn't capture the glitter.
casualties: new mascara I was trying was taking forever to dry and some manage to get on my lid.

EOTD: jewel eyes

Again, playing with my Icing cosmetic glitter tower!  This time I used cosmetic glitter glue and it was a pain to remove it LoL.  It didn't turn out as I wished to, but I'm pleased since I'm just starting on this glitter thing. The glitter was purple but my camera changed the color and looks blue on pics.  In person the combination of greens and purple looked super cool.
