Bettina Ocean + Update

Hi there, long time no post!
In my defense, I have a good excuse.  As I mentioned before, I've been -desperately- looking for job and my payers where finally answered.  Last week I started in a new job.  I'll be on probationary term for 3 months and if everything goes well, it will be permanent. 
Please keep me in your prayers! :)

Now to the polish: here is what I wore on my nails a couple weeks ago
Bettina Ocean with some studs I got at Icing.  I took the picture 4 days latter, so that is why the gold stud is a bit peeled.

I have many more manis ready, pictures just needs to be cropped and watermarked, but I'm waking up at 4am to get ready for work and then getting back home at about 5:30 pm so I'm too tired to work with them.
Think once I finish with Pueen's Love Elements and Gals Fairy set, I'll be on track again.

New attempt at tape mani

A little less than my first try, but this was a fail too.  I wore it the whole week because I didn't had time to redo my nails.  The tape almost removed the base color and the dots came out all weird.  Not my best but I still like it, specially after my nice said it was beautiful  :)

Nabi new blue glitter over Bettina 197

One of my favorite nail polish from Bettina Cosmetics is shade 197. Its a creamy blue / gray shade. I can tell you how much I love this color since I'm on my third bottle now! It is one of the shades I always go to when having a hard time picking a color.  This time instead of wearing it alone, I paired it with Nabi new blue glitter.

Notd: Bettina in purple

I've been using Bettina nail polishes since I was a kid. They where the most used polishes between my mom & aunts.I remember that their color range was more into neutrals and identified only by a number.  Now the brand as evolved and they have collections and names for the colors, the colors are more up with trends too.  They are very good polishes and offer a great value, usually retail for $2 or a little more.  I think they are only sold in Puerto Rico, but I might be wrong. Bettina also offers makeup products, their eyeshadows are super pigmented.

"Purple" is from the Art Deco permanent collection.
I have used this color many times! I tried my best to get the most accurate color possible to show on pictures; but that might not happen until I get a new camera.  Still, managed to get a somewhat decent representation of the color without flash, but blurry.

the eyelash proyect

When I see tutorials I love how false eyelashes can make so complete even the most simple look.  I only have 3 pairs of eyelashes, nothing fancy.
After getting my own eyelashes glued together, the falsies glued to my nails & the eyeliner ruined with glue:
