Gap lip shine lipgloss *pic heavy*

I got them at a Gap outlet store, they retail for $4.99 but where on sale for $2. They come in a plastic pouch. The product itself is presented in a clear square container that let you see the color and the cap that holds the wand is black.  I like the packaging because its very sleek and has a nice size. I checked on Gap website to see if they had other shades, but couldn't find them.

 

I got the shades Nude Shimmer and Berry Shimmer

Nude Shimmer is a tan / nude base with tons of gold shimmer.  This was my favorite because it looks gorgeous on the tube, but my lips are naturally very pigmented so unless I mute them with concealer, the shimmers are not as noticeable and the gloss base is quite sheer but I still love it.  It was quite difficult to photograph, my camera could not pick the golden shimmer and in the tube it looks more dark than in pictures.

Berry Shimmer is a strawberry-red base filled with tons of fuchsia and pink shimmer. Again, it looks darker in the tube (in person). It applies sheer and leaves a pretty stain when it fades out. It looks pretty by its own or over lipstick.  Even tho is a little bit sheer, you can easily built it up applying a bit more after a while. I think this gloss is perfect to add a pop of color to your look.

Both have a sweet / minty scent. The applicator is the classic doe-foot. On staying power they are normal. If I've been eating or drinking I need to re apply a bit after, but with Berry Shimmer I might not re apply because I like the stain with sparkles that it leaves. They are not sticky, Nude Shimmer is creamy while Berry Shimmer is more jelly-like.

Wearing Berry Nude. Initially was only wearing a  lip liner all over my lips but didn't like it so I layered the gloss on top. In person didn't look as dark and the golden shimmer was very noticeable.

Walgreens & The Gap haul

The goodies from Walgreens where in most part Wet n Wild; from their 69 cents display sale. This was an intentional and planed purchase,  specially the polishes because I didn't had any gold nail polish and since they came in I  had my eyes on the orange one.
As for Gap I only went there because my mom and sister in law wanted to, but also found something nice :)

got four nail polishes, tree of them from Wet n Wild and the other one from Sinful Colors.  From the Wild Shine collection got Night Prowl and from the new Fast Dry got The Gold and the Beautiful and 9.2.1 Orange.  From Sinful Colors got Forget Now which I'm wearing now

Also got some mini eyeliners from the Wet n Wild 69cents display and two others in regular size $1.99:

While checking the nail polishes my mom was looking for a foundation and the sales girl that help her was really nice, she gave us each a coupon magazine and my receipt had the survey thing to get $1 off next purchase :D

Then at Gap while browsing here and there I found this simple t-shirt with gold details in the clearance section, $5.99. Also got two lip glosses that where on sale in $2.99 (orig price $4.99)

Lastly, if you check the post on my Sephora birthday purchase, I got this lipgloss palette for $12

Well, Gap has the SAME one for $9.99! On the Gap one colors are neutral but I'm pretty sure that I saw another palette at Sephora with those colors too. I didn't get it because I'm lacking of space for new palettes but I like the color scheme and might give up eventually and buy it.
