Kleancolor: Holo Green
Despite how it looks on this pictures, Holo Green is a bit paler in real life; like the pastel version of a holo so whats not to love about it! :)
Glitters and holo usually dries fast but Kleancolor polish base is on the thick side, this one takes a little longer. Here I did 3 coats on itself but bet it looks prettier layered over a darker base. It has a grainy texture so I recommend doing two coats of topcoat but! be sure the polish is completely dry to avoid shrinkage (specially with Seche Vite)

Happy Birthday to me + St. Patrick's Day inspired mani
Greetings to all the Irish community on the web & everyone else who celebrates St Patrick's!
Today is my birthday. Strangely (and sadly) I might not do anything special, no celebration, no cake, no going out; not sure about gifts either. I'm going to stay home, probably catching up on my favorite tv shows and scheduling posts.
Anyway, here is the mani inspired by this festive occasion! I used quite a few nail polishes and some acrylic paints too.

Green Sponged & Jeweled Manicure
Oh my! I'm on a roll experimenting with the different techniques to do my nails.
There are so many blog, YouTube, Fb pages, Instagram, Pinterest and what not accounts dedicated solely to nail art that every time I see a picture I'm like "Hell yeah, I'm gonna do that!" LoL

I kept in mind St Patrick's theme to give some love to my green nail polish stash
Used Sinful Colors Beau Khaki as the base color. Then sponged China Glaze Agro, Kleancolor Metallic Green & Holo Green. The final touch where the green rectangle rhinestones in the middle finger.

Sinful Colors: Last Chance
Looks like I'm getting ready for St Patty's with all this gorgeous green polishes!
Last Chance is a very dark green, but just perfectly dark because you wouldn't mistake it for black. The formula is a cross between creme and jelly, opaque enough with two coats. From all the formulas, this mix of creme and jelly is my favorite because it makes application easy and the super glossy finish.
Do you already have your green picks for St Patrick's?

Sinful Colors: Exotic Green
Exotic Green is a beautiful shade of Jade. Not to bright, just perfect! In terms of finish, is a mix between jelly and creme; which makes application a dream. Even tho I don't frequently wear green nail polish, think it does suits me very well and this shade is one of my favorites.
Within my stash, Sinful Colors makes the best greens :)

Color Club Edie
I don't wear greens often and really don't know why? because I think -in general- they look good on me.
Edie is one of my favorites! It reminds me of kelly greens & sea foam at the same time. This color is more bright that the pictures shows, but when taking them with flash it totally changed the shade; so I opted for no flash snaps. In the bottle looked so vivid that I thought it was going to have a matte finish but I was wrong. It has a creme and shiny finish, and contrary to what I have read about it, formula on mine was a dream. It is on the sheer side, but because the formula was good, doing 3 coats where not a hassle.
This one will definitely will be among my picks for St Patrick's!

Essie School of Hard Rocks & My First Official Stamping Mani
This was my first time using Essie nail polishes and so far I'm loving them! I got two with my Apothica order and wish to get some more soon. Ok, back to Essie: What I love the most is how fast it dried. I really love opaque shades like this; a mix of grey, blue & green.
Now to the stamping: I'm fairly new to this and I had a little practice with some random plates but nothing like a whole manicure, just an accent nail, take a picture, remove it. When I got my Bundle Monster plates I could hardly wait to give them a try and this is what came out. I have issues placing the design, specially to fit he bottom of my nail but I'll keep practicing until I find the trick managing the stamper. To give it some sparkle used green glitters in the center of the circles in the design
For the stamping I used:
China Glaze For Audrey
Bundle Monster plate bm-206
small green sequins as accents
If you want to try something different with your nails I highly recommend to give Bundle Monster plates a try. They offer two bundles: 21 & 25 plates for a super accessible price. I got them as a birthday gift from my aunt and they arrived super quickly. I'm super pleased with the quality of the engraving!

Kleancolor Holiday Jingle
I'm not Irish, but I would love to rock this green the whole month of March!
Holiday Jingle is a fun green jelly small round glitter. The jelly base is great because it looks like the glitters are floating in there, instead of being part of it. Most might not want to wear it alone because the base is very sheer, but it looks so pretty by itself.
bottle shots
I can feel a super flashy manicure calling!

eotd: NYX herb and brown
After last weekend's craze with the super -failure NYX anniversary sale I remember of a look I did some time ago with their single eyeshadows in herb and brown. I've tried to do something with herb (deep olive shade with golden shimmer) but get out of ideas when it comes to work with it. This have been my only attempt and I like it, but I should have gone stronger on the eyeliner.

EOTD: jewel eyes
Again, playing with my Icing cosmetic glitter tower! This time I used cosmetic glitter glue and it was a pain to remove it LoL. It didn't turn out as I wished to, but I'm pleased since I'm just starting on this glitter thing. The glitter was purple but my camera changed the color and looks blue on pics. In person the combination of greens and purple looked super cool.
