Electric Purple
This was purchased by my mom; so my review is mostly based on how the product worked on her, but I have used it too. The compact has a good size mirror and the top of it as a cool eye shape, includes a double side sponge tip applicator: one side is the regular round/dome shape, the other side is angular and pointy; which I found great to use on the tear duct, lash line or applications on-the-go.
Mom only uses a primer when I do her makeup, so I was surprised to see some blue and orange eyeshadow 4 to 5 hours later; specially on Puerto Rico's climate and considering her mid oily eyelids.
Using it on myself with primer & base it have passed with a C+ the Saturday Night test. My test includes Puerto Rico hot/humid climate, a lot of walking in high heels, dancing, sweating and alcohol...so it wasn't so bad LoL.
To make colors really pop I would recommend using a base like NYX jumbo pencil or MAC painterly. The pigmentation is really good considering how sheer Avon eye shadows used to be. Texture is very soft so even if you use a primer, you will also need a base to make the orange on the Aquadelic quad really pop and last. The website picture does not makes justice to the lightest color in the Aquadelic quad. In the pic looks cream with maybe some shimmer. But in person this color is very pretty, it is cream but packed with gold shimmer specs.
