Notd: animal print?

Last month I purchased a nail art stamping kit and 3 plates from Born Pretty Store and have been playing with it for a while.  Honestly, I thought the stamping thing would be so easy to use...well, maybe for people that actually have a natural talent for nail art, but I suck at it. Anyway, so far the only design that I've come with that I actually like was using their m69 plate.  The print didn't transfer as opaque as I wanted so I tried to retrace it with the polish brush...I messed it up :(  I don't know if its me or the polishes I'm using (regular ones, not the ones intended for stamping)   
Any tips on this matter will be happily welcome!
