Making nail decals with stamping plates

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Since I got a kit of acrylic paints I've been in search of nail tutorials and ideas to get them use and hopefully, improve my freehand skills.  I recently came across the Messy Mansion website and their tutorial to make nail decals with the stamping technique.

here is my first try:

This was really fun and easy to do.  If you are like me, a disaster on freehand, this techniques makes it all easier, you only need to know the basics of stamping.  To put this tutorial in practice I used a Born Pretty Store stamping plate.

Pimping up a simple but already sparkly manicure

This manicure went trough three steps: single color - layering and finally a flashy revamp!
For this look, next day I layered two more coats of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Chrome, then added purple diamond-shaped glitters and a stick-on flower decal on my ring finger.

Revlon Sheer Blossom + Nail Decal

The name says it all: sheer.  Sheer Blossom is a pale pink with very subtle gold? shimmer.  I was in search of a good-almost nude shade for those days when I didn't want to go color-crazy but didn't want naked nails either.  I found this shade to flatter my skin tone and make nails look delicate.  Application was good.  To avoid streaks I recommend to go with 3 thin layers and make sure each of them is dry before applying the next one.

To spice it up I did an accent nail with a nail decal
