Collective Haul: CVS, Sallys & Local Beauty Supply

Since mid March I've been haulin' too much nail related things, specially nail polishes.  Think I should not get any new ones...I'll try not to, I'll try  ;)

Here is a mix of things I got at CVS, Sallys and a local beauty supply called "Cosmos"

CVS: their polish remover: since I started stamping, noticed I might need acetone in industrial quantities! lol  Also got NYC white cream (for stamping) and Spoiled Pet My Peacock

I went with my sister-in-law to a new (to us) Sally's location and where surprised at how big the store was!  They had 4 clearance sections from which I got the Let It Snow kit $1.25 (Blue Years Eve & Snow Globe), Some like it Haute $1, California Mango cuticle gel $.69.  The only thing I got regular price was Lux & Lush from The Hunger Games collection. It was $5.99 but in my receipt it said $4.  Now I wish I got Harvest Moon and Riveting since I've seen them in other Sallys at $6-$7

Local beauty supply: Bettina Metallic Copper $1.99, SuperNail thinner $2.25, Color Club Magic Atraction $1.99 and Kiss Wear cuticle remover $1.95

Days before, one of my aunts got this Color Clubs at the same beauty supply. She got them to get her toes skittle-ed, but because she rarely wears colors like this; she gave them to me :D This are my first! CC

Later last week, I went back to another Sallys location and got some more polishes and nail wheels.  The crackle polishes where an impulse buy motivated by how cheap they where; think they where not even a dollar!

As the tittle warns, this post includes lots of pictures.  I tried to sum them up as much as I could and while doing so, notice that this month I went overboard with nail stuff.  I think is safe to admit that nail polish/art is not taking over; it have already caught me on its web!

CVS & Kmart:  

Now I have a CVS location near me [does happy dance] and the day after my bday they where having the inauguration.  I went with mom, sis-in-law and niece; had a great time wondering around. At Kmart I also found a super sweet deal!

CVS: they had the Wet n Wild Spoiled display and I picked two:  Shuffle the Deck & Jewelry Heist

To add up to my recent stamping plate stash, the Salon Express kit that sadly came with a duplicate plate.  Also got the CVS brand Apricot Scrub.

At Kmart I got the Sally Hansen Color Quick pens on clearance for only $.80!  I read that chrome ones where great for stamping, so I got all the colors they had in the clearance bin.

Goodies from Apothica!

Recently I was contacted by Apothica to be part of their sponsorship program. Many good things have been happening for the blog, some are still in progress and I'm really happy about it.

Packaging was very neat! everything (except for the DuWop kit) was bubble wrapped and had a Fill-Air bag around it.  The DuWop kit inside the small bag had an eyeshadow duo, an eyeliner and mascara, plus some white foam pieces wrapped in a brown and gold tissue paper (very elegant!); this help to prevent damages.  This was my first experience with the company and I'm very pleased, specially with the way everything was packaged; they certainly didn't skip on secure my precious cargo!  It took about 10 days? from order processing to delivery; I would say that processing took the longest and shipping was fast.  When ordering I had the good luck of using a code to get 20% off which maximized my budget.  Another thing that I like from the company is the vast array of brands that they offer and that I was able to score items from brands like Essie & SpaRitual at a discounted price + the discounts and sales that they have all year long.  This have been a great experience because this will be my first time trying the brands that I choose from.

The picture of the box is blurry because I was taking a medicine that got me super shaky :(  had to wait until the effect wore off next day to take the rest of them.

Small Nail-Stuff Haul

Last week Walgreens finally! had Sinful Color polishes on sale. I could't find the ones I really wanted but got some other nice colors. They ended up being in the pink-purple range (all-pink is not my thing; I prefer dark colors). 

Also got two nail art kits at a super price from my new favorite place to get all this cuties & Kleancolor polishes. The store is called Secrets by Me and they carry things from underwear to beauty salon tools at super affordable prices.

This kit was only $.99 for 12 mini vials filled with different glitters, rhinestones and misc shapes

At the same store I got a mini clear polish from a brand called Bonita to reach the minimum purchase with a debit cards.  The mini polish + this kits would make a great bundle to make your own franken!

New Clutch Purse

I'm so thankful for clutch purses! I hate going out carrying a full size handbag; they can be very uncomfortable, specially in crowded places.

Including this one I only own 4 (another one in black with studs, one tan and one brown).  My mother got it for me from a local store called Kress while they where having a new year clearance sale.  I think it was around $3, a total steal.

I prefer wrist-lets but I'm liking this bigger but still slimmer design.  It has enough room for ids, compact, cash, cellphone, keys, lipstick and the you-never-know rescue tampon.  I like the purple rim accent and  the color of the inside lining looks very cool.

Collective Haul

This are a couple of things that I've got since mid November as gifts from my mother.  It feels weird being spoiled by her now that I'm and adult; usually was the other way around...God works in mysterious ways!

I'm very sure this is not a shirt like mom said.  It looks more like sleepwear?

because on my is to long to be a t-shirt but to short to be a dress, I have to wear it leggings or skinny jeans
