Late on challenges: Glitter Bomb

On BBPR we have weekly challenges. The challenge some weeks ago was a glitter bomb mani.  I was tight on time so I decided to use pictures from a prior attempt at it.  Didn't post them on time because of school and some personal stuff I was dealing with.  Because I have so much going on right now I was thinking about going on Hiatus for a while.  I like to be consistent on posting, but it is getting a bit difficult now. I blog for fun; this is not a job or a career. Feeling pressured to post and meet deadlines here when my personal stuff and academics needs more attention its not fun -nor right-  If you read me regularly, thank you!! for sticking around, even when I've been a bad blogger  :)

Its 5:13 am in Puerto Rico and I just finished one of the 4 essays for my Spanish class.  I'm so tired I can't sleep, so thought this would be the perfect time to post my glitter bomb

 Used China Glaze Silver Lining, Claires Glitter Top Coat and Sinful Colors Call you Later on my ring finger with an additional thin coat of Clares GTC. I decided to add China Glaze Black Mesh.

Claire's Glitter Top Coat

If you see this nail polish at Claire's, don't the name foul you! Its name is simple: glitter top coat, but there is much more.  Its a cool holographic glitter and even tho it says is a topcoat, its dense enough to give you nice coverage with 2 coats, but I used 3 to make it even more intense.

My recommendation is to use it without a base coat if you are going to wear it alone, the base coat will cause uneven coverage. Because the glitters are tiny there not much of a bumpy finish to it, but anyway I applied 2 coats of clear top coat. It lasted nearly 2 weeks! and even got lots of compliments, even from a bartender LoL. It was easy to take off, I just let a cotton ball with remover sit on the nail for a less than a minute and the polish peeled off. 

I wish I had a better camera to capture this polish beauty!  This is my first holographic nail polish, haven't been able to find any other affordable alternatives :(

Claire's eyeshadow & blush palette

Got this palette at Claire's [$8] because the blushes looked so cute with the animal print over spray and thought the e/s where in cream.  This picture was taken after occasional use and swatch.  I had new in package pictures but they disappeared from my camera...

looks messy :s but no matter how much I clean it in seconds its messy again; don't know why?

Has mentioned before, I though they where cream e/s.  They feel like cream but set like powder.  The consistency its a little grainy / chunky? Its weird to explain, I've never had a e/s like this before so they are quite difficult to work with.  But I don't want to surrender because despite the weird consistency, they are super pigmented and the colors are gorgeous!

For now, I only use the blush and bronzer.  My favorite is the pink one.  Maybe you can't notice but it had a silver and pale pink over spray, it made my cheeks glow and even when it looks so bright when applied with a fluffy brush looks more subtle.  Bad thing the over spray is gonna fade soon :(
