Wet n Wild Lust Palette Look: eyeliner included

WnW Lust is one of my favorite palettes because of its versatility; the darker shades makes great eyeliners!
I enjoyed a lot this look because it doesn't involve any complicated shade placement. The trickiest part would be the cat eyeliner, but nothing that constant practice won't solve :)

Challenge: Purple Flower Makeup

I did this makeup for the BBPR weekly photo challenge.  I know I made a resolution to post at least a makeup look weekly but its to hard to do now! *sigh*
I really liked the outcome, even so much that had a hard time deciding what pictures to post.

The inspiration for the look was this picture

Now my interpretation of it:

To achieve this look I used the Wet n Wild Lust and Pride palettes, , Mark liquid eyeliner, Rimmel Mascara and Elizabeth Arden eyeliner on my waterline.

My go-to very smokey eye

So long since I posted something related to makeup!  Polishes are to blame, they have taken over me.

I wore this look to a Halloween pre-party on Thursday of that week.  I didn't wore any costume, but had fun rocking a smokey eye, which I don't do often. I started using a new moisturizer that has a high SPF, that's why on this pictures my face looks so pale.  After I took the pictures I manage to balance it with bronzer.

Hi!
This is overdue, but still wanted to post to make it my first outfit of the day.  Pictures where not taken for the purpose of the post; there are no clear shots of my shoes, accessories or makeup, but I think is a nice start, I'll try to improve and think of this kind of post more often :)

I wore this to my grandfathers 75 birthday.  I was still sick but already feeling better.

Makeup Look: First timer with glitter!

Couple of Christmas ago, I got a cosmetic glitter stack at The Icing.  I was thinking of using it for my Halloweens makeup but then got so scare that glitter would stick so hard on to my lids that it would be impossible to take it off, or, that it would fall out during the night.  Dominated by my fear, the glitter stack have been in a drawer, until some weeks ago.
It wasn't a success; the glitter close to my inner corner started to come off.  Then realized that my camera won't capture the glitter because it was white! Decided to put some gold and green glitter on top of the white, but it barely stick. But to be my first time it wasn't so bad :) and I had so much fun that even got carried away with the eyeliner too.

Makeup Look: Dirty Green with Profussion palette

I'm starting to give a break to my WnW palettes on use other eyeshadow that have been neglected for so long, on this case I used a Profussion palette mom got me couple years ago in Walmart.  I forgot how much I use to love the metallic tones on it and how handy is to carry, its like a little book  :)

I'm not good describing colors, that why I called "dirty green" the main shade I used.  Its a mixture between an old gold and green.  You might notice some creasing, but I don't know what cause it. Never had problems before with the eyeshadows on this palette, my Palladio primer or the cream base.  The only thing I can thin it was that my allergies started to act up that night; but not sure that could cause creasing???

And here I'm just wearing the E.l.f conditioning lip balm, was not sure about what lip color to use when I took the pictures

Makeup Look with WnW Color Icon palette in Lust

This is a look I've done so many times, I think it goes with everything and its very easy to do.
I'm loving this WnW Color Icon palettes!

oops I forgot to put on lipstick!

In person the lipstick looks more natural pink than mauve, but my camera likes to play with colors

Pink & Gold with LA Colors

Made this look using the LA Colors Metallic eyeshadow palette in Wildflowers. I love this palette, I got it with two others ( Wine & Rose, Tea Time ) at a Dollar General while visiting a friend in Orlando. Ive wanted these palettes for a long time, they are not easy to find here in Puerto Rico. If you happen to know where to find them in PR please!!!! let me know. While, While!!! back ago I remember our local Walgreens & Kmart used to sell LA Colors but not anymore

I used the yellow, gold, pink and dark fuchsia shades on the palette and a hint of black in the outer corner.
highlight: matte cream shade from WnW Color Icon Vanity palette
waterline: white WnW kohl eyeliner
lashes: Mark make it big mascara in Raven
top eyeliner: Elf waterproof eyeliner pen in Midnight to trace the wing shape, then filled with Mark on the edge liquid liner in Cleo

I'm still struggling to create a look I like with the other palettes ( Wine & Rose, Tea Time ), so if you have done a look with them let me know, I need to get inspired! :D
